The first coat

We are going to buy some more paint in order to do some areas with a double coat. None the less it looks WAY better than the old wood panelling. Good thing the weather hasn’t been that great, because that would make being couped up in a trailer a little unbearable. Tonight we’re off to see the Dark Knight.

Sitting..waiting

Sitting in the add-a-room at my in-laws trailer waiting to see if the sun will come out so we can go to the beach. It has not been a good week for vacation

Trailer overhaul

Since our trailer is about 27 years old, it is a little outdated. The first year we had it (2006) I ripped the shag carpet out and replace it with nicer flooring. Now it’s time to tackle the wood panelling. We’re going to sand, primer, and paint the wood panelling to brighten things up a bit.

Typing on the iPhone

I just downloaded an application for my iPhone that allows me to post updates ANYWHERE. Now whether that makes me actually update this blog anymore than I have been (hardly). Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

West Lake Livin’

Today was our first “sitting on the beach day” this summer. After about 20min, I can’t hack the sun. I’m too conscious of all my tattoos, and that even with sunblock on, I’m at risk for them fading. I had to go find shelter under a near by tree, separated from the rest of the family. After we left I decided to run down to the Canadian Tire in Picton and get myself a little present. The “Beach Shade”…I prefer Beach CAVE. This should solve my issues, I’ll try it out tomorrow.
