Whether it’s on my computer, or on the go with my iPhone, the easiest is Tumblr.  So I’m going to see whether I can stick with that for posts.  We’ll see if I come running back here.  I will of course maintain my macintomblog on wordpress.  But personal stuff will be on Tumblr (personal means funny stuff mostly as I never have a lot of serious things to say).

Four more days till Andrea is due.  I can’t seem to focus at work for more than 30 minutes at a time.  I guess this is normal for a soon-to-be first-time dad.  I also can’t seem to get motivated at home to work on my psychology course.  I’m so close to finishing my first module, I really could sit for 60 minutes straight and probably finish it…that is if I could stay focused for that long.  Ah well, we’ll see how I am after the baby is born.  I can’t foresee any more clarity of mind, probably more blowing of the mind as you stare at a human being you took part in creating.  I’m excited, scared, anxious, and worried all rolled up into one.  

Life is about to change.

This is probably the last weekend without a baby here. Nine months seems like forever in the beginning, but now it seems like no time at all. Lazy days will soon be over.

I really hope the dogs are accepting of the new addition, Bronson has a shady history with little ones, it’s the reason I adopted him when he was 9. He’s now 13 and hopefully more relaxed. I will do everything I can to socialize him prior to the baby crawling or walking. Although he’s 13, and his life expectancy is 12…he’s full of beans and showing no signs of age. We’ll see how it goes.

I’ve seriously been neglecting my blogs recently. Well, this one always gets neglected, but my macintom blog has been hurtin. Just too busy these days. I tend to go in bursts though. So maybe Im due for another burst.

Well it’s here, tomorrow is my first exam for a university class. I started this class December of last year, I slacked way too much, had to get an extension, and finally tomorrow I’ll write. I have till Tuesday to write it but I’m not taking any chances. I hope I get a good sleep tonight, it doesn’t help that it’s 11:39 at night. Anyways, I hope I can get some intermittent studying done at work tomorrow during coffee breaks and lunch.

Update: exam mark was %80, final mark in the course was %84. I’m happy with that. Next class has been started.

Just upgraded to the new iPhone 3G and will be selling my old iPhone on eBay. Can’t believe that people are paying $500-$600 for used iPhones. Well considering they are very easy to unlock and hack, it makes sense that they are in high demand. It will more than cover the cost of my upgrade ($299). One more day up here at West Lake. We’re closing down the trailer tomorrow. Too bad it’s raining, it would be nice to hit up the beach one more time.

Wow, it’s been a long time since I’ve updated this blog….the summer has consumed my spare time, and I’m not complaining. We’ve been spending every weekend up at the trailer, but this weekend is the last time, we’re going to close it down (for the season). On the baby front Andrea is coming up to 29 weeks and looking great. Things are a little stressful now with preparation for the baby coming. It doesn’t help that we’ve used all our spare time (weekends) to go up to the trailer.

I’ve also played a show with A Thousand Cures as a stand in bass player, the show went great, I had a lot of fun, and I’m playing with them again on September 18th at the Opera House.
