Whether it’s on my computer, or on the go with my iPhone, the easiest is Tumblr. So I’m going to see whether I can stick with that for posts. We’ll see if I come running back here. I will of course maintain my macintomblog on wordpress. But personal stuff will be on Tumblr (personal means funny stuff mostly as I never have a lot of serious things to say).

Sitting in the add-a-room at my in-laws trailer waiting to see if the sun will come out so we can go to the beach. It has not been a good week for vacation
Since our trailer is about 27 years old, it is a little outdated. The first year we had it (2006) I ripped the shag carpet out and replace it with nicer flooring. Now it’s time to tackle the wood panelling. We’re going to sand, primer, and paint the wood panelling to brighten things up a bit.
I just downloaded an application for my iPhone that allows me to post updates ANYWHERE. Now whether that makes me actually update this blog anymore than I have been (hardly). Guess we’ll have to wait and see.

Today was our first “sitting on the beach day” this summer. After about 20min, I can’t hack the sun. I’m too conscious of all my tattoos, and that even with sunblock on, I’m at risk for them fading. I had to go find shelter under a near by tree, separated from the rest of the family. After we left I decided to run down to the Canadian Tire in Picton and get myself a little present. The “Beach Shade”…I prefer Beach CAVE. This should solve my issues, I’ll try it out tomorrow.
Alkaline Trio released their new album today; Agony and Irony. Currently 3 versions available on iTunes. The standard album with 11 tracks; $9.99. The Deluxe version has some added tracks and a digital booklet; $9.99. There is also an enhanced version; $16.83.
I highly recommend this band, great rock, great song writers.
